Draft Itinerary:

Day 1
Flight to Moscow via Frankfurt
On arrival, you will be met by coach and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Dinner at hotel.

Day 2
08:00hrs Buffet breakfast at your hotel
09:00hrs Guide to meet the group in the hotel lobby
Morning guided sight-seeing tour of Moscow
Lunch at local restaurant (at own expense)
Afternoon excursion to Kolomenskoje.
Dinner at hotel.
Night city tour of Moscow (optional extra).

Day 3
08:00hrs Buffet breakfast at your hotel
10:00hrs Guide to meet the group at reception lobby.
This morning you will visit the Kremlin (grounds). Visit 1 Cathedral and armoury is also possible. The Kremlin is the former residence of Russian Tsars, it is an architectural ensemble of unique beauty which took shape between 15th & 20th centuries. The armoury Chamber – the treasury of Russian Tsars with a unique collection of gold and silver items of the 12th -19th centuries. Russian arms and armoury of the 12th√Ǭ†- 16th centuries, as well as ambassadorial gifts of the 16th -19th centuries. Lunch at local restaurant (at own expense)
In the afternoon, you will have an excursion to Sergiev Posad, which is a symbol of the Russian Clergy. The famous Troite-Sergiev Luara, a monastery complex is located here. The oldest building here - Trinity Cathedral built 1422 is well known not only for its architecture, but also for the marvellous collection of paintings aswell.

Day 4
08:00hrs Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
This morning you will have some free time for some independent sight-seeing and shopping.
14:30hrs You will be transferred to the railway station for your train journey to St Petersburg.
16:30hrs Depart Moscow
21:45hrs Arrive St Petersburg
On arrival in St Petersburg, you will be met by an English speaking guide and transferred by coach to your hotel.
Dinner and evening meal at your hotel.

Day 5
08:00hrs Buffet breakfast at your hotel (served from 07:00)
11:00hrs This morning you will have a guided city tour with an English speaking guide.
St Petersburg is a city of beautiful Baroque Palaces, picturesque canals, splendid avenues and elaborate cathedrals. Visit to Peter and Paul Fortress. It was built during the Russian-Swedish war but then its bastions were turned into political prison cells. Peter & Paul Cathedral was the burial vault of Russian Emperors since 1725.
Lunch at a local city restaurant (at own expense).
15:00hrs After lunch you will have an excursion to the Hermitage Museum. This museum is one of the biggest in the world. Its collection counts over 2.7 million items, including masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinchi, Raphael, Rodin, Rembrandt etc.

Day 6
08:00hrs Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
11:00hrs Meet your guide at the reception desk in the hotel lobby.
Morning excursion to Pushkin -located 29km south of St Petersburg, the construction of Catherines palace for empress Catherine I started in 1717, a park in the French style was laid out around it. In the middle of the 18th century Tsarkoe Selo became the official royal residence.
13:00hrs Pavlosk Palace and Park
Lunch at a local restaurant (at own expense).
You will have the remainder of the day free in St Petersburg.

Day 7
08:00hrs Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
11:00hrs Meet your guide at the reception desk in the hotel lobby. This morning you will visit Petrodvorets (Peterhof), the Imperial Summer Residence on the Gulf of Finland. The palaces and parks with fountains were built in 18th century under the order of Peter the Great. The tour of the Big Palace includes gala halls, residential rooms and studies. Here art pieces of the 18th and 19th century, such as paintings, clocks and chandeliers are displayed.

In the afternoon, visit one of the worlds most beautiful cathedrals, St Isaacs, built between 1818 & 1858, which was designed and named in honour of St Isaac of Dalmatia, on whose day Peter I was born. The Cathedral is filled with mosaics, painted ceiling murals and bronze gilt statues.

Day 8
Return flight to Dublin
