Draft Itinerary:

Day 1
Flight to Dubrovnik. Evening at leisure
Overnight Dubrovnik. Evening meal at your hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast, we will have a guided tour of Dubrovnik. You will visit the Rector  Palace and the Franciscan monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, and other interesting sights.
Following our guided tour we will depart by boat to Cavtat. Upon arrival we have a walking tour with a visit to the Mestrovic mausoleum.
Free time for strolling around and return to Dubrovnik by boat.
Return by coach to your hotel or perhaps you would like some free time in the Old City and make your own way back to the hotel for evening meal and overnight.

Day 3
Early morning departure from Dubrovnik to Medjugorje. We will have a visit to Apparition Hill, and we will have some free time for those who would like to attend mass in the local church, and have lunch in the village.
This tour will take us along the Adriatic coast, through the green Neretva Valley towards the charming town of Mostar, with its narrow cobbled streets it is a mixture of East and West. Our walking tour will take us to the cultural and historical highlights such as the Old Bazaar, the Turkish House and one of the many old Mosques.
After the guided tour there will be free time for strolling around and browsing among the many old craft shops.
Return by coach to your hotel for evening meal and overnight.

Day 4
Montenegro is located less than one hour’s drive from Dubrovnik.
After crossing the boarder we will drive around the spectacular Bay of Kotot, which is deeply carved in to the Montenegrian mountains offering unforgettable scenery. We will pass along charming settlements such as Risan and Perast before arriving to Kotor where we will make a stop to admire the Old Town and the Medieval fortifications.
Our trip takes us further up the mountains on the old road towards Cetinje, once the deat of the Montenegrian rulers. We stop halfway in the small village of Njegusi where you will have the chance to taste some of the famous local specialities, smoked ham, cheese and honey wine ( not included). In Cetinje there will be a visit to the Stat Museum, formerly the Palace of the Montenegrian King Nikola.
The drive continues on the new road down to the town of Budva where we will make our last stop before continuing back to Dubrovnik. The drive back will be pleasantly shortened by a ferry ride across the bay.

Day 5
Today you will have a free day to do some independent sight-seeing and shopping.
Evening meal at own arrangements.
Overnight Dubrovnik.

Day 6
After breakfast we will depart for a said through a chain of islands called the Elephite Islands. You will visit three of the largest and the only inhabited islands – Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud.
On the return sail you will be served grilled fish and unlimited wine with local music for entertainment.
Dinner will be served in your hotel this evening.

Day 7
After a pleasant drive along the coast we will enter the Peljesac peninsula and continue through the famous vineyards before we reach the town of Orebic where we will leave the bus and take a short boat ride across the channel to the island of Korcula. The town with the same name, Korcula is known as the birth place of Marco Polo. It was most probably founded by the Trojan hero Antenor. Today you will have the opportunity to experience its narrow cobbled streets, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces. Our walking tour of the old town will take you to the most interesting sites such as the Cathedral, the City Museum and the Bishop’s Palace.
After sight-seeing there will be time for lunch or even swimming ( 0n your own). Upon returning you will have the opportunity to taste some of the best wines of the region as well as learn about its production. We will visit some of the best known wine cellars in the region.
The Matusko Cellars in the village of Potomje are known for the production of the excellent red wine Dingac as well as the sweet wine Prosek.
The Milos family in the village of Ponikve will show us their interesting cellar as well as treat us to their exccellant wines.
Return to your hotel for evening meal and overnight.

Day 8

Check out of your hotel this morning. You will have some free time until you are transferred to the airport for your return flight to Dublin.
Return flight to Dublin.
